Fresh In Five Minutes

We all have those days when we:

  1. Can’t be bothered to wear make up
  2. Are running late
  3. Get caught off-guard and need to look presentable ASAP

I recently discovered a wearable make up look can be easily achieved in five minutes. And honestly, it will only take around five minutes to look polished I promise.

The above products easily make you look presentable in the speed of light! Well, maybe not the speed of light but definitely within a handful of minutes.

Face:

  • The Base by Lara Bingle LB Cream

I recently reviewed this product and I honestly just cannot get enough of it! This BB Cream is utter perfection. It evens out the skin tone, provides a decent amount of coverage, has a luminous finish and lasts all day long. I have acne scarring and it covers my scars so well, leaving me to only apply concealer to more prominent scarring. If I am in a rush I can easily apply this product knowing my skin is going to look amazing.

  • Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder Trio

I especially love wearing this powder over my LB Cream. It comes in three colours so the shade ‘Dim Light’ can be used to set the Cream if you would like to do so, ‘Incandescent Light’ can be used to highlight the cheekbones and ‘Radiant Light’ can be used to add a bit of colour to the face.

Eyes:

  • Too Faced Shadow Insurance Candlelight

This is the perfect lazy product because it adds a gorgeous champagne sheen to the eyelid, so it kind of looks like you have gone to the effort even if you haven’t.

  • Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara

Skipping mascara is a big no-no for me. I like this mascara because in two coats I have relatively defined, thick, long lashes.

Brows:

  • Poni Cosmetics Brow Magic

Well-groomed eyebrows will instantly make you look more polished. If you don’t have time to draw your perfect arch, quickly draw light strokes through your brows and comb them.

As much as I love spending time applying my make up, sometimes I need to just quickly apply it!
