I am completely Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift. She is everything I want to be and I admire her so much. She is strong, stands up for what she believes in, is gorgeous, talented, kind, funny and extremely talented to name a few. Oh, and did I mention talented? Because I love Taylor, and her ‘style’ (get it?), I decided to create a T Swiz inspired look.
I will start off with the fashion. Taylor often wears short dresses or skirts paired with ankle boots or heels. Recently, I have been wearing a lot of short dresses, skirts and shorts and have been pairing them with heels and high-heeled ankle boots. I like the striped dress I am wearing above because Taylor often wears stripes also. To finish off the fashion side of the look, don’t forget a black hat. Taylor is famous for wearing her black felt hats during the ‘Red’ album era.
Now onto the make up. Taylor’s red lips are her signature and ironically are mine also. She often wears Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl, which is my all time favourite lipstick. When I am creating a Taylor Swift look, I try to perfect my base and will keep the contouring and highlighting to a minimum. The essential Taylor make up items are red lipstick, a natural looking foundation, a matte blush and of course gel or liquid eyeliner. The products that I used for this look are:
- Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation
- Nars Radient Creamy Concealer
- Nars pressed powder
- Bobbi Brown blush in Nectar
- Poni Cosmetics Brow Magic
- Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner
- Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara
- Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dragon Girl
To finish off the look, spritz on your favourite Taylor Swift perfume and you are good to go!
So there you have my Taylor Swift inspired look! Just a little disclaimer: I don’t think I look like Taylor Swift and I am not pretending that I do. This is simply just a fun Taylor inspired post!
