Sheet Masks | Obsession

Lately I have been obsessed with using sheet masks – the Karuna ones in particular.

Although they make you look a bit like Jason from a Freddy Krueger horror film, sheet masks are pretty cool. They lock in all the moisture and deeply nourish your skin. The longer you leave the masks on for the better, so they are a great option if you are a busy person or you like to multi-task! I know some people even sleep in their masks. I like to sit back and read a book and send scary Snapchats to my friends (thanks for screenshotting them by the way everyone).

I have used the amazing SK-II sheet masks, but let’s face it they are too expensive to use often. The Karuna face masks have just launched in Australia and they retail for $12 each so they are more affordable for me. The first mask in the Karuna range that I tried was the Hydrating+ Face Mask, and I loved it so much I went out the next day to grab some more. I left my mask on for around an hour, but I could have easily left it on for a bit longer. As soon as I removed the mask and massaged the rest of the serum into my skin, my skin absolutely glowed and it looked so much clearer! The Karuna Hydrating+ mask hydrates my skin really well, but to lock in that moisture I apply my regular moisturiser on afterwards. I can really see the benefits from using sheet masks and it’s safe to say I am hooked.

I am really excited to try the other masks in the Karuna range but for now I have just picked up some more of the Hydrating+ masks and an Antioxidant+ mask.

G xx

  1. This looks promising. I have a few sheet masks at home that I haven’t tried yet but seeing as you have had good results – it may be time to give them a go!
