I was in a bit of a ‘favourites rut’ for a while and stopped writing about my monthly favourites, however in February I found myself really loving a whole heap of new and old products.
Alpha-H Liquid Gold
This is truly a miracle in a bottle. Liquid Gold is essentially a resurfacing treatment, toner, exfoliator, serum, and moisturiser in one. It contains ingredients such as 5% Cosmetic Grade Glycolic Acid, Licorice Extract and Silk Proteins to help with wrinkles, pigmentation and sun damage. I swipe this over my face three times a week after cleansing in the evening.
Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in 54 Boy
Okay, so I only purchased this product a matter of days ago but I am obsessed. I think saying I am obsessed might be a slight understatement to be honest. It is the perfect everyday neutral/nude shade for me. It is so comfortable to wear and although I generally don’t like glossy lip products, I love the semi-shiny finish of this lipstick. It makes your lips look so juicy.
Luxatan is my new favourite self tanner. For starters, the product doesn’t smell like your typical fake tan – it has a light, sweet scent that doesn’t even linger. Secondly, the colour actually fully develops on my snow white skin unlike some products that seem to barely tan me. I receive so many compliments from friends and family when I wear this tan too.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
I purchased this concealer when my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ran out. I am having a hard time deciding which concealer I prefer, but I have to say the Urban Decay one is pretty incredible. It is so lightweight, has amazing coverage and doesn’t crease at all on me. The only downfall is when I pull the wand out of the tube some product splashes out, but other than that I can’t fault the product.
So, I recently got some 70s style bangs cut. I thought about getting them cut for months and months, but I only did it a few weeks ago. I wish I cut them sooner because I am loving them! I either wear them messy in the middle or to the side a la Taylor Swift in the 1989 era.
Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner
I have had this product for over a year now, but last month I really got into it again. I find it so easy to use and it doesn’t smudge on me!
Natralus Natural Paw Paw Lip Butter
These lip butters have been doing a fantastic job of hydrating my super dry lips. Unlike another famous Paw Paw brand that I will not name, Natralus Lip Butters do not contain petroleum or petrochemicals. Although I love all scents, the Strawberry one might just be my personal favourite. If you would like to win your own set of all three Natralus Lip Butters, follow the instructions on the image below. The competition will run until March 15 over on my Instagram page @thegraciefiles_
