Sunday Riley Artemis Oil | Review

Detoxifying, clarifying and clearing. Those are the three words that come to mind when I think of Artemis Oil by Sunday Riley. Containing Lemon Myrtle and Lemon Ironbark, this citrusy oil helps to combat inflammation and acne and make you glow brighter than a set of Christmas lights.

I have been struggling with some serious acne of late. I’m not talking about the odd spot here and there; I mean serious breakouts that are deep and painful. I had tried so many different skincare products that unfortunately didn’t help me much. A girl I work with recommended I try Artemis Oil as she said it helped clear her own breakouts, but I was hesitant as I was already feeling defeated that nothing else had helped me. It took me a few months to eventually buy a bottle of Artemis and I regret not trying it sooner! The difference I can see in my skin after using this product for only two weeks is unbelievable. My stubborn acne is finally starting to budge and my skin’s texture and glow factor is seriously improving. My insane oil production seems to be slowing down a bit too since using this product.

Artemis does feel thick in consistency, however it is absorbed nicely into the skin. Despite this, I find it fine to use during the day and it doesn’t make me become any oilier than usual. Makeup also sits beautifully on top of it! Some people will most likely get turned off by this oil’s strong lemon scent but I find once it has been rubbed into the face the scent does fade.

Artemis is a beautiful product that I highly recommend, especially if you are suffering from breakouts and oily skin. I heard on the grapevine that it is being discontinued as Sunday Riley has brought out a new oil called UFO, however I have not received confirmation of this. To be safe, snatch this up while you can!
