Last week I had a birthday then went on a little holiday which means I have a lot of new beauty bits to talk about!
Go-To Skincare Face Case
I am really into silk pillowcases and Go-To Skincare so I was super excited to have received this for my birthday! Silk pillowcases are very gentle on your skin and hair, unlike cotton which can cause wrinkles and micro tears in the skin.
Pixi Glow Peel Pads
I am a huge fan of the Pixi x Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse so I was keen to try more from the brand. These peel pads contain 20% Glycolic Acid to help to resurface and exfoliate the skin.
Pixi x Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse
Speaking of Pixi and being a huge fan of this cleanser, I received two more of these as a gift for my birthday – yay!
LaVanila The Healthy Deodorant in Pure Vanilla
I have used this deodorant many times before and I still say it is the best natural deodorant out there. This aluminium-free deodorant really does work and doesn’t cause irritation like some regular deodorants can.
I am planning on giving my lashes a break from lash extensions so I thought I should start using a lash growth serum. I have heard so many great things about this particular one, so stay tuned to hear my thoughts on it!
Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream
I haven’t come across an eye cream that I am absolutely in love with yet, so here’s hoping this one impresses me!
Laura Mercier Illuminating Primer
I was needing a new primer and haven’t delved into Laura Mercier too much so I thought I would give the Illuminating Primer a whirl. This primer looks so gorgeous and pearly and is water-based so it won’t clog pores.
Too Faced Born This Way Concealer
I have needed a new concealer for under my eyes for so flipping long now but could never decide which one I wanted to try. Eventually I decided to go with the Born This Way concealer since I really like the foundation.
IT Cosmetics CC Cream
This product was sold to me as soon as I heard Estee Lalonde rave about it (you all know I’m a hardcore Estee fan!) My shade is literally always sold out in the full sized tube so I had to pick up the mini to try first. I loved it so much after the first time I used it that I went back the next day to purchase another mini just incase that too sells out.
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Marine Boosting Mist
This product just launched in Australia and looked interesting. It claims to be a primer, setting spray and makeup refresher, but I have mostly used it as a setting spray so far. I will test it for a little while longer and share my thoughts.
Chantecaille Faux Cils Mascara
This is a beautiful mascara to help strengthen and nourish your lashes. I had used it a while ago and truly noticed a difference!
Essie Nail Polish in Lacquered Up
I generally don’t wear a great deal of red nail polish these days but I couldn’t pass up on this gorgeous bright red shade.
Essie Grow Stronger Base Coat
I had gel nails for a long time so I felt like this was an essential.
Essie Gel Setter Top Coat
The main reason for me having gel nails for so long was because I loved the longevity and super glossy finish, so here’s hoping this top coat does the job!
Le Labo Rose 31
As a fragrance addict there is no way I would pass up an opportunity to add another Le Labo scent to my collection. This scent is a little different to what I would normally wear but I am strangely attracted to it. It is quite a fresh rose scent which is different to my typical heavy, woody fragrances I wear.
Voluspa Baltic Amber Candle
Amber is my favourite scent (ever!), so thank you to my parents for this lovely birthday gift. I literally cannot stop smelling it!
