They say eyes are the window to the soul… so we should treat them with care! Below are my favourite products to use around my eye area.
Goldfaden Bright Eyes Eye Cream
Goldfaden MD is one of those ‘best of both worlds’ brands. The products are physician strength but include natural ingredients while leaving out the ingredients we don’t want (mineral oil, silicones, artificial fragrance and colour etc). Bright Eyes is a best selling eye cream and for a good reason. It contains Soy Peptides, Rice Bran Extract and Vitamin K, to name a few, to assist in reducing puffiness and dark circles while increasing hydration. This eye cream is non-greasy and goes perfectly underneath makeup – no wonder these fly out the door!
Chantecaille Vital Essence
This serum is gentle enough to bring up to the eye area from some extra hydration. Vital Essence contains a stable form of Vitamin C to help brighten and hydrate the skin while reducing any fine lines. This serum soaks in instantly making it perfect to use under an eye cream when you want that extra punch.
Chantecaille Faux Cils Mascara
Who doesn’t love a mascara that gives full, voluminous lashes while nourishing and strengthening them? This mascara contains Rose and Red Seaweed Extracts to keep your lashes hydrated and to prevent breakage. Faux Cils has been my go to mascara for a while now and I truly notice the difference in my lashes when I use it.
I have been applying this religiously after removing my eyelash extensions and I can put my hand on my heart and say it works! This serum has helped my lashes to grow longer and thicker than what they were pre lash extensions. If you want to see real results you definitely have to use it religiously morning and night, but it is truly no effort to incorporate into your routine. Another alternative to this serum is the one from Talika. I have not personally used that one but I have friends who have had great results from it.
Bobbi Brown Corrector in Bisque
Sometimes concealer isn’t enough to banish dark circles. Bobbi Brown’s correctors will be your best friend if you, like me, suffer from extreme dark circles. Apply before your concealer to help counteract the dark tones!
Surratt Eyelash Curler
This is the best eyelash curler on the market – hands down. Something about the way this is designed ensures that every lash is perfect curled and never kinked. Curling your lashes are essential for opening the eyes and looking more awake. I also love how chic and luxurious it feels to use a matte black lash curler – it even comes in its own pouch and box when you purchase it!
