Haircare I’m Into

Since I’m pretty hopeless at doing my hair and know how to do approximately two styles, I don’t delve as much into haircare on TGF. I do however love some good haircare products and have been really enjoying using the products below…

Ouai Rose Hair and Body Oil

Ouai is such a cool haircare brand founded by celebrity hair stylist Jen Atkin. I use this delicately rose scented product in my freshly washed damp hair to keep it hydrated. Since my hair is short I find one pump of this product is more than enough – if I use any more my hair will go greasy.

Keune Color Brillianz Conditioning Spray*

I always spritz some kind of moisturising spray in my hair before using a hair oil. This Keune spray has been doing a great job of keeping my hair hydrated without making it feel weighed down and heavy.

Olaplex

As a blonde, it is essential I use this product at least once a week to keep my hair strong. Olaplex literally bonds your hair together and keeps it strong and healthy. This isn’t a ‘moisturising’ product though, so you still need to use a conditioner after washing this out.

Bumble and Bumble Dryspun Finishing Spray

This stuff gives your hair the best texture. It tousles it perfectly and doesn’t make it crunchy, sticky or weighed down. My bottle is nearly empty and I will definitely be repurchasing. This is essential if you have shoulder length or shorter hair!

Ouai Finishing Cream

This is an alternative to using the Bumble spray for me. If my hair is feeling like it needs moisture but I want it to look ‘lived in’ I reach for this product. You only need a small amount of it scrunched into the ends of styled hair to give you that instant ‘I spent an hour on my hair but want to look like I spent two minutes’ vibe.
