Winter has come and go for another year and while I do enjoy sporting cosy knits and cuddling up with a cup of tea, I am looking forward to the warmer months. No doubt I will soon retract that statement as I live in a very hot and humid area, so summertime can be unbearable. I digress. The hot showers and cold air that our skin was subjected to in winter can really take its toll on our skin, so I have been amping up my body care routine in the lead up to summer.
Embalm Invigorating Body Scrub*
I have been enjoying this body scrub from Embalm, which is a new natural and cruelty-free Australian skincare brand. Embalm is designed to nourish your skin and help you maintain your glow without exposing you to chemicals found in a lot of other skincare products. This scrub smells super fresh and invigorating, as the name suggests, and leaves your skin literally glowing thanks to the hydrating oils in the product. This scrub removes any dead skin cells to leave your skin silky smooth and hydrated as well. It contains ingredients like Matcha Green Tea, Bergamot, Lavender, Ylang-Ylang, and Ginger – nice and zingy. Embalm also make a lovely cleanser which is worth checking out.
Biologi Bf Body Serum*
You have heard me rave on and on like a pork chop about Biologi products. I always have this product on hand and have gone through a ridiculous amount of this stuff. You can read my full review on this product here.
Luna Bronze Moisturiser
This is a fab product for maintaining my self tan. It has a beautiful, light citrus scent to it and I always feel refreshed when I use it. I have noticed that my tan definitely fades off a lot quicker throughout the week if I haven’t used this moisturiser to keep my skin hydrated.
Frank Body Magic Shimmer Oil
If I ever go out (which isn’t that often if I am honest) I reach for this product. I enjoy applying this all over my body, but particularly on my shoulders and décolletage for a hyper-real glow.
MooGoo Eczema and Psoriasis Cream
So, long story short, I randomly developed psoriasis a few months ago. I’m still not sure why this happened, however I have found that a lot of products do irritate it and cause flare ups, so I have been a lot more conscious about what I put on my body. While I love using all of the products mentioned above, I sometimes exclusively use this cream from MooGoo. This cream is like magic and definitely helps to clear flare ups and soothe my skin! I will also say that I only ever use the MooGoo Milk Wash to wash my body as other body washes irritated the life out of my skin – so I think the combination of that plus this cream help soothe bad flare ups. I am not the biggest fan of the smell of this cream, but it works so well so I can really look past that.
